The actress was joined by her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, as the couple performed the traditional aarti and sought the blessings of Bappa.

Why Shilpa Skipped the Celebrations in 2025?

The return of Bappa to the Shetty-Kundra home this year is particularly meaningful because Shilpa had to break her long-standing tradition in 2025. On August 25 last year, the actress announced that her family would not be holding Ganpati celebrations due to a bereavement in the family.

Shilpa explained that the family would observe a 13-day mourning period and therefore refrain from religious festivities. She also shared an emotional message with her followers, saying that her home felt incomplete without Bappa but that her heart remained full of His blessings.

After missing the celebrations in 2025, Shilpa and Raj have once again opened their doors to Ganpati Bappa.
