'Box office has become a bigger issue as compared to performances', says Anupam Kher

Anupam Kher news: Anupam Kher is one of the finest actors who gave three hit films back to back namely 'The Kashmir Files', 'Karthikeya 2' and 'Uunchai' in 2022. The veteran actor has almost spent a decade in the industry. He also calls this year a successful year.

Recently in an interview, the actor said that the box office has become a bigger barometer than the performances. He also stated that there were films which use to make people think, changed their perceptions and brought about awareness among them.

Then Anupam Kher also mentioned that he was not looking down on Hindi films as he was also a part of the same business. He added by saying that he always had a naughty smile on his face as he always thought that several roles he had done on screen were successful.

Further, the actor said that he survived 38 years in the industry because of the kind of actor he is, and the kind of work he has done for so many years, he thanked all the directors and producers who have rigorously contributed to his success.

In addition to it, the actor said that it is not the actor's success alone but it is the success of the director of the films and everybody else who made efforts from the back end to make things happen with perfection.  However, the actor feels proud, respected and great about it.
