Brahmastra box office collection: Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt's film mints Rs 160 crore worldwide in 2 days

'Brahmastra' box office day 2 collection: 'Brahmastra', directed by Ayan Mukherji, has been setting records ever since it opened at the box office. The Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer film received a tonne of public praise after seeing a phenomenal advance booking rate.

The movie which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy, has managed to rank among the top opening day earners of the year.

According to sources, the movie made a worldwide collection of Rs. 75 crores on Day 1. Besides, the 'Brahmastra' day 2 box office collection increased worldwide making the film's overall collection even bigger. In fact, the movie's global box office earnings has now surpassed Rs. 100 crores within two days of its release.

'Brahmastra' made Rs 160 crores at the worldwide box office in just two days after its release.

Many people have praised Ayan Mukerji's gigantic vision of the "Astraverse," which combines Hindu mythology with aspects of fantasy and VFX. 'Brahmastra - Part 1: Shiva' has garnered mixed to unfavorable reviews from viewers and critics for its story and dialogues.

Mukerji posted a short thank-you message on Instagram following the release of the box office earnings. “Gratitude. Excitement. Hope. A Big Thank You to Everyone Everywhere who has gone to the Cinemas to experience 'Brahmastra', keeping our movie-going culture vibrant and dynamic. Looking forward to the next few days.”

Producer Karan Johar announced the film’s gross total and wrote, “The light shines bright… Eternally grateful to the audiences for their Big love”
