Cannes Film Festival 2022: Pooja Hegde receives 'sweet surprise' from fans as she leaves for Cannes
The Cannes Film Festival is one of the world's most respected film festivals. The festival will begin on May 17 this year. The 75th Cannes Film Festival will feature many actors from the movie industry on the red carpet. Pooja Hegde, who will be representing India at the festival, will also be making her debut. Pooja will be the first female Pan India celebrity to join Cannes 2022.
Pooja was recently spotted at the airport leaving for Cannes 2022 however the Radhe Shyam actress was shocked to discover a bunch of supporters waiting to wish her good luck.
Pooja, who was wearing a black skirt and a white casual top, was surprised when she saw supporters carrying a banner that read, “Heartfelt congratulations and all the best, Pooja Hegde, representing India at Cannes Film Festival 2022." Witness the moment, Pooja couldn’t control her happiness and was heard saying, “Oh My God” whith bright smile on her face. She also went on and hugged her female fans for the sweet gesture.

For the unversed, Pooja Hegde will be at the festival on the 17th and 18th of May. Apart from Pooja, svereal other stars from India will be seen at the Cannes Film Festival. Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Singh, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Oscar winner AR Rahman, R Madhavan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Grammy winner Rickey Kej, CBFC chairman Prasoon Joshi, Shekhar Kapur, are some of the celebs who will be joined by Pooja.
Ahead of Pooja Hegde leaving for Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, and Aaradhya were also photographed at the airport, departing for Cannes 2022.
Every year, the Cannes Film Festival hosts some of the world's best actors. To be noted, Deepika Padukone is a jury member at the75th film festival this year.
Meanwhile on the professional front, Pooja Hegde will be next seen in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali with Salman Khan. She also has Rohit Shetty's Cirkus and Mahesh Babu's SSMB 28 in the works.
