First Miss Universe of the country, Sushmita Sen is one of the most prolific faces of the Indian film industry as she has served her impeccable performances in numerous films over the past years. Although, now it had been yaers getting to see Sen's face on any mainstream Bollywood movie, she has surprised her fanatics in 2020 by moving back on the screens through the superhit OTT crime drama thriller series, Aarya whose 3rd season was premiered recently and with some great screen prowess, she has yet again mananged to win the hearts of the millions. 

Sushmita Sen talks about being 'friends' with exes

Apart from her glitzy life in the industry, she is often known for her controversial love life. In-fact it made into the media headlines when she broke up with her boyfriend Rohman Shawl after years of being in a relationship. But the two of the ex-lovers are often spotted strolling around the city and cafes. Recently, during an interview, the Aarya fame has spoken on being able to be 'friends' with you ex and revealed that is is one of them. While talking about the same, she agreed and said taht one can surely maintain a bond of friendship with their lovers once separated but it is tough and quite confusing. But at the same time, by taking a side of such masses, she said that people can be friends with their exes withouth the idea of knowing drawing the lines and boundaries. "But it’s possible because I have seen it happen, and I am blessed to have it in my life as well," she quipped.

Sushmita Sen on Marriage 

Proceeding further, Sushmita Sen was asked about marriage to which she answered that 'marriage' hasn't ever been a 'thing' for her. Moving on with her statement, she qipped on the absurdness of the societie's ideology of marriage. According to her, neither the biological clock nor the right time provided by social conditioning should make you want to take this decision. She added while saying, "But if the person is right and ticks all the boxes as far as I am concerned, of course, I will get married."

Sen's way of dealing with heartbreak

Sushmita Sen shared some strong POV's on dealing with heartbreak. When asked how she manages to stay so dignified after a heartbreak, she said that her life is an open book, she had always been that way she has lived it quite honestly and fearlessly. According to her, dignity is somethinmg that is not bounded with just one aspect of life. It is a phenomenon that should remain stagnant. "So, all the decisions you take, whether they hurt you, whether you are betrayed, or whether you were at fault, don’t matter. The point is, that something wasn’t meant to be, and it had to stay for as long as it could teach you something. You value that lesson and move on," the former Miss Universe added. Proceeding ahead she said that it not worth it investing time by thinking about or against a person so much. Thus, she acknowledges them with absolute dignity.
