Abhay Deol recalls Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara as he quips on surfacing doubts of the film's success without a villain!

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is one the most prolific film the Hindi indutry has ever given to it's Bollywood fanatics. Released back in 2011, the star studded movie has impressed audiences globally and has witnessed a huge ladder of success both critically and commercially. Speaking in a nutshell, the extremely resonating characters of the film has made the the movie grab a larger than life audience with an impeccable storyline, screen presence, comedy, drama and made everyone dream about 'that' road trip to Spain with your best friends. 

Abhay Deol speaks about the doubts people had on ZNMD

Rceently one of it's leading star, Abhay Deol who has played the role of Kabir in the film, sat on an interview where he could be seen taking his fanatics back to the good old days of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Through the conversation, Abhay recalled the pre-making phase of the adventure drama movie where many people has warned them about the film's failure without a villain in it. While referring about that certain group of people who has their doubts has said, "When we were making Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, so many people in the film industry were asking ‘who is the villain? There is no villain. What is inner conflict? Who will come to watch Hrithik Roshan’s inner conflict?’ We were hearing this kind of chatter."

Proceeding further, Abhay said, "With the kind of packaging that it got, the film could become successful despite the naysayers. That is how it was fresh. That these kind of actors and making this kind of film and in this budget, and it worked. But the film industry did not have much faith that it would work." 

ZNMD is coming with it's female lead sequel

Now as the film has completed more than 15 years in the industry, it still freshens up the mood when watched. In-fact, it is a legacy that inspired many filmmakers of Bollywood the idea of adaptibility of the similar storyline sorts. Meanwhile, the Hindi movie goers are bracing themselves for an another enthralling similar storyline that is currently under the process of making. Yes, I am referring about Zee Le Jara. Earlier, the news broke out within the industry that ZNMD's leading actor, Farhan Akhtar is geraing up for making a sequel of the iconic film but with female leads this time which includes Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.
