Anupam Kher celebrates late friend Satish Kaushik's birth anniversary with a heartfelt post and video montage
Anupam Kher, the veteran Bollywood actor who is known for his prolific acting career spanning over three decades, has paid a touching tribute to his late friend and colleague Satish Kaushik. Kher, who is an active presence on social media, recently shared a heartfelt post on Instagram to commemorate Kaushik's birth anniversary.
Kaushik, who passed away in March earlier this year, was a celebrated actor, writer, director, and producer. He had worked on several noteworthy films during his illustrious career, including Mr. India, Saajan Chale Sasural, and Judaai, among others. Kaushik's passing had come as a shock to his fans and colleagues in the film industry, who mourned his untimely death.
In the post, Kher shared a video montage featuring pictures of Kaushik, Kher, and their other close friend and colleague Anil Kapoor, along with their families. The pictures showcase the bond of friendship and camaraderie between the three actors, who were often seen hanging out and enjoying each other's company.
Kher's caption was a touching tribute to Kaushik, whom he had known for nearly five decades. He wrote, "My dear friend Satish Kaushik! Wish you a very happy birthday! Today on Baisakhi you would have turned 67. But for 48 years of your life I had the privilege of celebrating your birthday. So I have decided that this evening we will try to celebrate your birthday in a grand way! The seat with Shashi and Vanshika will be vacant. Kher also expressed his sadness over Kaushik's sudden demise and called it a "sudden full stop on a friendship of 45 years." He further added, "Death is the ultimate truth of this world! But I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend Satish Kaushik while alive. Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti!"
Kaushik had passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest in Delhi. He was in the city to celebrate Holi with his friends when he began feeling unwell. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he passed away on the way. His passing was a shock to his family, friends, and colleagues in the film industry, who remembered him as a warm, kind-hearted, and talented individual.
Kher's post was met with an outpouring of love and support from fans and colleagues of the late actor. Many took to social media to express their condolences and share their own memories of Kaushik.
