Jawan antagonist Vijay Sethupathi refuses to play love pair with Krithi Shetty; See why

Vijay Sethupathi is one of the most critically acclaimed actor from the Indian cinema. Hailing from the South Indian industry, the star has even contributed his acing grace in the recent Bollywood blockbuster, 'Jawan'. As the movie is accessing it's highest fame all across the globe, the star is surely basking the unfathomable glory. Talking about Jawan, the action thriller is helmed under Atlee which features Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Deepika Padukone alongside the South Indian star. 

Why Did Vijay refuse the proposal?

Recently, Vijay Sethupathi's one of the earlier interview is surfacing over social media where he could seen talking about refusal of a film project wherein he was roped to play romantic role opposite to actress Krithi Shetty. It was during the time of promotions of his film 'Labaam' where revealed how awkward the situation might have become with Krithi as he has previously played the role of a father of the actress in the movie 'Uppena'. As per Vijay, the huge age gap also made his mind divert swooning away from acting opposite to Krithi, as the actor is 45 year old while Krithi is as young as 20. "This would have been such an awkward experience. I rejected the prospect of Krithi Shetty playing my love interest in Laabam," Vijay quoted during the interview.

Meanwhile speaking about his current work front, Mr. Sethupathi played the character of the main antagonist in the Atlee movie Jawan, where his character is immensely praised by the global fanatics. Jawan is currently crossing wonder in commercially and critically both, as it has already garnered more than Rs. 1000 crore at the global front and soon on it's way becoming the highest grossing Hindi film ever. On the other hand, Vijay will be next seen in the upcoming movie 'Ghost'.
