Karan Johar Shares Heartwarming Rakhi Video of His Kids Yash and Roohi
Filmmaker Karan Johar took to Instagram to share an adorable video of his children, Yash and Roohi, celebrating Raksha Bandhan. The video captures the precious moment as Roohi ties a rakhi on her brother Yash’s wrist, while their grandmother, Hiroo Johar, watches on with pride.
In the heartfelt post, Karan expressed his love for the festival and the joy of watching his children participate in the tradition. He wrote, "Rakhee love !!!! It's always a process to get the tradition of this beautiful festival of love accurately on point! The mothership contributed and the son was in a tearing hurry to go nowhere! The daughter was dutifully doing her best and I was trying to be the master of ceremonies with not much success!!! Happy Raksha Bandhan to all !!! Take care of each other and spread the joy."
Karan Johar welcomed Yash and Roohi via surrogacy in February 2017. The filmmaker named his son Yash in honor of his late father, Yash Johar, and his daughter Roohi, an anagram of his mother Hiroo's name.
On the professional front, Karan Johar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming comedy series 'Call Me Bae,' starring Ananya Panday. Produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, the series marks Ananya's OTT debut and is set to premiere on Prime Video on September 6. The series is written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair, and directed by Collin D'Cunha.
In addition, Karan is receiving acclaim for his latest film 'Kill,' starring Lakshya, which is directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and produced by Johar himself.
