Singham Again; Ranveer Singh gushes over wifey Deepika Padukone's fiery look
Hailing from the world of Rohit Shetty's cop universe, Singham is one of the most beloved film franchises Indians love to be indulged in. After presenting the world with a series of its whopping cop action thrillers, director Rohit Shetty is now all set to bring its upcoming installment, Singham Again. Meanwhile, the upcoming film is going to feature a stellar cast ensemble which will feature Ajay Devgn reprising his infamous character along with stars like Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Deepika Padukone alongside Akshay Kumar is a significant cameo role.
Meanwhile, fans are quite anticipated to see their favorite IT couple of Bollywood, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone on the same screen, which was last happened in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali period drama Padmaavat and people have drooled over it. Now, a couple of days back, the makers of Singham Again have unveiled Deepika Padukone's look on the socials. DP looked enthralling in the poster while acing in Ajay Devgn’s iconic Singham pose. As soon as the new look went public on socials, the internet gushed over Padukone's look who will be playing the role of Shakti Singham in the upcoming installment.
Apart from the internet people, her husband aka lover Ranveer Singh has also joined the queue to root head over heels for Deepika's iconic-looking poster. Today, on 22nd Aril, 2024, Ranveer Singh has taken over his Instagram handle to share DP's new avatar on his stories and rooted calling her 'Sherni' (Lioness), penned in capital letters with a similar emoji. Meanwhile, the actor has also added an oozing musical, the title track of the Singham to be precise, to give an overall feel to the shared story. The leading lady, Deepika also shared the poster on her Gram two days back with a caption - "#LadySingham #ShaktiShetty @itsrohitshetty"
Meanwhile, Singham Again is the fifth installment of the cop universe created by Rohit Shetty. The earlier films of it's kind include - Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, Sooryavanshi. Earlier the filmmaker also introduced Deepika Padukone who will be joining the cop universe along with her husband Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn. The film will feature Deepika Padukone as Shakti Singham. Apart from Deepika, the film will also bring Tiger Shroff as ACP Satya and Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Avni Singham. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the story is penned by Shantanu Srivastava, Kshitij Patwardhan, Yunus Sajawal, Milap Zaveri, Abhijeet Khuman, Sandeep and Anusha. Notably, the film is all set to release in the next half of the year 2024.
