Supermodel Gigi Hadid expresses her gratitude being first time in India; See what she has to say!

The launch of 'Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre' at Mumbai was a whole extra affair in terms of it's extravaganza celebration and a long list of guest attendies. Hollywood stars flooded the Mumbai's glorious event too. Among all, supermodel Gigi Hadid gave her awstruscking presence to the NMACC launch party. The model was seen gracing the event in her supermodel way.

'Unforgettable first trip to India'

Meanwhile, it was Gigi's first visit in India. Gigi on Monday shared her immense pleasure of gratitude to be in the country for the first time and wrote while sharing a post, "Unforgettable first trip to India. Much love". The model took over her social media platform and shared every tiny moments exchanged with the Indian celebrities as well as with her team while hopping the Mumbai streets. She thanked the Ambani Family for making her a part of the grand event and quoted, "It was an honor to be there to witness your family's vision come to life, in a beautiful world-class Cultural Centre to celebrate and cultivate the creatives and heritage of India".

Her sari took 1 year of craftsmanship

For the two-day event, the supermodel was seen playing with Indian ensembles. On 31st March evening (the Great Indian Musical), she opted a muticolored embroidered long pant suit by the Indian designer, Rahul Mishra. On the 2nd day, April 01, 2023, Gigi came in an Indian angelic avatar. She went for a sari look for the 'India in Fashion' crafted by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The white chikankari saree with golden borders and a golden jewel embelished blouse with diamond stud earrings, golden bangles and a middle parted sleek haired bun, with minimal make-up gave goosebumps to the viewers. To which Gigi wrote, "It was my honor and joy to showcase the masterpiece desinged by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. This Chikankari sari was made in the Lucknow region of India, and took a year to make, each woman who crafted it specilaizes in a different stitch. Truely remarkable workmanship".
