Deepika Padukone shares glimpse from FIFA 2022 Finals as she unveils trophy
Deepika Padukone at FIFA World Cup Finals : Deepika Padukone was the first Indian to present the FIFA trophy, making India proud once again. The FIFA World Cup trophy was escorted by the international celebrity and leading ambassador of India when it was unveiled at the Lusail Stadium.
With Deepika Padukone walking in with FIFA veteran and former Spanish professional footballer Iker Casillas Fernandez, the trophy ceremony, which weighs 6.175 kg and is composed of 18-carat gold and malachite, became a momentous occasion for India.

Fans cannot stop applauding her after seeing pictures of the actor with the former Spanish goalkeeper from the game. Deepika Padukone looked simply stunning in a white shirt, brown overcoat, and black belt.
While sharing the clip from FIFA World Cup Finals, Deepika wrote, “From unveiling the FIFA World Cup Trophy to witnessing one of the greatest games in sporting history, i truly couldn’t have asked for more…??”
For the unversed, Argentina, led by Lionel Messi, and France, headed by Hugo Lloris, played in the historic Jules Rimet Trophy final. Argentina won its third World Cup victory by defeating France 4-2 on penalties following a 3-3 draw that featured two goals from the 35-year-old Messi and a hat trick from France forward Kylian Mbappé. The match was arguably the greatest finale in the tournament's 92-year history.
A number of Bollywood celebs were spotted during the match in Qatar namely Shah Rukh Khan, Farah Khan, Mohanlal, and Ananya Panday and others.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen in ‘Pathaan’ with Shah Rukh Khan which will be released in theaters on January 25, 2023.
