Delhi Police uses Kareena Kapoor's 'Poo' to deal with traffic rule violators

Kareena Kapoor's Poo character features on traffic lights: On Saturday, the Delhi Police's social media campaign featured Kareena Kapoor's Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Delhi Police added a Bollywood spin while urging people to obey traffic laws. Delhi Police frequently comes up with creative ways to disseminate educational messages on a variety of topics through social media.

They posted a brief video clip on their official Twitter account in response to people who run red lights and endanger the lives of others. The video clip shows a motorist driving quickly through a red traffic light.

Poo, played by Kareena Kapoor Khan in the movie "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham," makes an appearance on top of the red light after the automobile has passed and mouths the famous line, "Yeh kon hai jisne Poo ko dobara mud kar nahi dekha."

The Delhi Police department tweeted the video and captioned it as, "Who's that traffic violator? Poo likes attention, so do the traffic lights! #RoadSafety #SaturdayVibes."

Despite police efforts to ensure that no one breaches the law, some drivers still choose to run red lights, endangering lives on the road. Thus, Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, played by Kareena Kapoor Khan, has been enlisted by Delhi Police to ensure that people heed the appeals.

In addition to the car, the department shared a video of a traffic infraction on its official Twitter page. Kareena Kapoor also reacted on this viral campaign initiated by the Delhi Police with a few hushed face emojis posted on her Instagram.

On the family front, Kareena is now on holiday in the UK with her husband Saif Ali Khan and their kids, Taimur and Jehangir.

Meanwhile on the professional front, she is currently waiting for the release of Laal Singh Chadha, the film she'll be starring in next with Aamir Khan which is slated to release on August 11, 2022.
