Aanchal Khurana claims Shehnaaz Gill is 'Self-Obsessed' and has 'Low IQ,' says editing made her look innocent

Aanchal Khurana has spoken about her experience with Shehnaaz Gill during their time on Mujhse Shaadi Karoge. The actress claimed that the audience did not get to see the complete picture because several moments were edited out, which, according to her, changed how viewers understood the contestants and their interactions.

Aanchal Questions Shehnaaz's Public Image

Speaking to media, Aanchal said that Shehnaaz's on-screen image was different from what she experienced personally. She claimed that the show's editing made Shehnaaz appear innocent and entertaining, while her own opinion was different.

“People were crazy about Shehnaaz. In my opinion, she is self-obsessed and has a low IQ, but the way she was edited made her look like a very innocent and cute girl. I think she is very clever.

“I stayed in Punjab for eight months and during that time I heard many stories about Shehnaaz and her background. But in Bigg Boss and Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, editing made both Shehnaaz and Shehbaz look very funny. According to me, they are actually rude people,” she said.

Claims About Shehbaz and Edited Scenes

Aanchal also spoke about Shehnaaz's brother, Shehbaz Badesha. She claimed that he was rude during the show and recalled calling a word she said is commonly used in Delhi for someone acting silly. According to Aanchal, Shehbaz had also made several remarks about Roadies and about her, but those moments were not shown on television.

She alleged that only the part where she called him silly was aired, while the rest of the conversation was edited out, making the situation appear different from what she experienced.

Difference in Personalities

Aanchal further said that she and Shehnaaz never connected because of their different personalities and ways of thinking.

“From the time I spent with Shehnaaz, I realised that our thinking and personalities are completely different. Just like I became friends with Digvijay and Sangeeta because our vibe and mindset matched, I don't think my mindset will ever match with Shehnaaz's,” Aanchal added.

She also recalled an argument during Mujhse Shaadi Karoge. According to Aanchal, Paras Chhabra had asked her what happened in the house during weekends, and she only shared what she had personally seen. She claimed Shehnaaz accused her of disrespecting another contestant, leading to a fight. Aanchal alleged that the episode did not include the complete conversation and only showed selected portions, which she believes changed how the incident was viewed by the audience.

Meanwhile, on the work front Shehnaaz Gill was last seen in Ishqnama, where she stars opposite Jayy Randhawa.
