As the excitement around Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa Season 2 continues to build, co-hosts Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan recently came together for a promotional press event. While the gathering was meant to celebrate the upcoming reality show, one unexpected question quickly grabbed everyone's attention.

During the media interaction, a journalist brought up Riteish’s close friendship with Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. Referring to their past legal controversies, the reporter asked whether Riteish would invite them to the show because they had “experience” with lock-ups and how he would punish them if they appeared as contestants.

The question clearly did not sit well with the actor. Riteish, known for his calm and respectful nature, immediately expressed his displeasure. He stated that he did not wish to answer the question because he did not want to give it any importance or dignity.

When the same topic was raised again, Riteish responded professionally. He explained that his responsibility on the show is to serve as a host, not to decide who enters the competition. He added that the hosts simply interact with contestants and guests who are part of the program.

His response made it clear that he preferred to focus on the show rather than discuss personal matters involving his friends.

Farah and Riteish Bring the Fun Factor

To lighten the atmosphere, Netflix India’s Monika Shergill stepped in with a humorous remark. She joked that if anyone ever had to be in a jail, Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh would probably be the most entertaining jailers possible.

Praising the duo, she said Farah is famous for speaking her mind, while Riteish has a unique way of making people smile even while holding them accountable. According to her, their chemistry, wit, and playful personalities will add plenty of entertainment to the reality series.

What to Expect from Season 2?

Premiering on Netflix on June 27, Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa marks a new chapter for the popular reality franchise. Unlike the first season, which was hosted by Kangana Ranaut and streamed on ALTBalaji and MX Player, the latest edition will feature Riteish and Farah at the helm.

The season will see 14 celebrity contestants living inside a high-pressure jail-like environment, cut off from the outside world and forced to face difficult challenges. Actor Ram Kapoor has already been revealed as the first inmate, while Shivangi Joshi and Pamala Serena have also joined the lineup, setting the stage for a dramatic and unpredictable season.
