Sourav Ganguly, the former Indian captain, is indeed considered as one of the most respected figures in world cricket. Ganguly, the current president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), took to social media to announce his upcoming biopic.
The former Cricketer took to his social media accounts to share the official statement about his upcoming biopic. "Cricket has been my life, it gave confidence and ability to walk forward with my head held high, a journey to be cherished” wrote the BCCI President.
He further added, "Thrilled that Luv Films will produce a biopic on my journey and bring it to life for the big screen."
The Biopic on Sourav Ganguly is being produced by Luv Films who have previously produced blockbusters films like ‘Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety’, Malang, ‘Chhalaang’ and many others.
Ganguly, popularly known as Dada, is one of the most successful skippers in Indian cricket history and currently serves as President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India wrote, "Let's get this ball rolling 🏏🎥"
Meanwhile, "Kuttey" and "Ufff," directed by Luv Ranjan starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, are two upcoming titles under the banner.
Earlier, in an interview, Sourav Ganguly also revealed that as per him, the best choice for his role would be Ranbir Kapoor even though the cast hasn’t been finalized yet.
