Pollywood superstar Amrinder Gill is celebrating his 43rd birthday on May 11. Amrinder was born in Bhoorchand area in Amritsar on 11th May, 1976. He completed his graduation in Agriculture Science from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He entered into the Punjabi entertainment industry with the popular song 'Kala Doria'. He made his acting debut in 2009 with Jimmy Shergill and Neeru Bajwa starrer Munde UK De. He played the supporting role in the film.

Since then, he has featured in films like Daddy Cool Munde Fool, Angrej, Love Punjab, Lahoriye and Ashke among others. Awards Amrinder Gill bagged his first Best actor award during PTC Punjabi Film Awards in 2016 for his outstanding performance in ‘Angrej. Released on 31 July 2015, the film received positive response from film critics and audience as well. Set in the pre-partitioned Punjab, the film performed exceptionally well at box-office one of the highest grossing Punjabi films of all time. In PTC Punjabi Film Awards 2017, Amrinder Gill again took the Best Actor trophy home. This time, he won for his performance in the film Love Punjab. In 2018, Amrinder Gill claimed the Best Actor trophy for the third consecutive time. During the PTC Punjabi Film Awards, Amrinder was adjudged the best actor for his film Lahoriye. In 2019, Amrinder Gill won the Best Actor 'Critics' award during PTC Punjabi Film Awards for the film Ashke. Besides in films, Amrinder has bagged various trophies in singing too.
