Kanth Kaler is one of the most melodious singers of the Punjabi music industry. Born on May 7, 1972, as Harvinder Kaler, the singer is known for crooning sad tunes with his melodious voice. He belongs to Nakodar district of Jalandhar, exeling in the folk and bhangra genres.

He changed his name from Harvinder Kaler to Kanth Kaler after being adviced by his spiritual Guru Baba Murad Shah to place the Kanth (voice) before all.

He recorded his first album ‘Hun Teri Nigah Badal Gayi’ with the help of famous lyricist Kumar Dhaliwal and Madan Jalandhari, who was really impressed by his voice.
