Tarsem Jassar is one of the most amazing singers of the Punjabi music industry. Born in village Jassar in Ludhiana, he loves to write poetry and chilling with his friends. Tarsem was inclined towards writing from a very young age and this made him an inspired lyricist.

He used to sing Kavishri in his school days. After completing his post graduation, he went to England and worked as a labourer there. Tarsem started his lyricist career by writing lyrics for the singer Kulbir Jhinjer.

Tarsem has once said that if not a singer or lyricist, he would have been a businessman. Apart from singing and writing songs, he is also popular in working as an actor in films like ‘Rab Da Radio’, ‘Afsar’, ‘Uda Aida’ among others.
