Amitabh Bachchan hails India for Oscars 2023: The entire nation is celebrating its win at the Oscars 2023. WIth 'RRR' and 'The Elephant Whispers' victory, actor Amitabh Bachchan is also one of the elated celebs right now. Sharing his happiness the actor recently shared a special note on his Twitter.

Amitabh posted on Twitter:"T 4585 - WE WIN ! WE WIN TWO ! WE WIN FOR COUNTRY AND PEOPLE ! WE WIN !! Bharat Ka Jhanda Gaadh Diya, Videsh Mein! OSCAR 95."

It was a historic day for Indian filmmakers and the audience when "RRR's passionate song "Naatu Naatu" won the Oscar for "Original Song" and "The Elephant Whisperers" took home the prize for Best Documentary Short at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

The award was received on the team's behalf by composer MM Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose. Actors Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, director SS Rajamouli, and singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava have all been present for the significant occasion.

In addition to this, Indian filmmaker Kartiki Gonsalves and producer Guneet Monga received the 'Best Short Film Documentary' trophy home for 'The Elephant Whispers'.

The storyline of the movie centres around a family who adopts two infant orphan elephants from Tamil Nadu's Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. The whole country is celebrating this historic victory, not just the winners.
