Backstreet Boys's singer AJ McLean Announces Divorce: Backstreet Boys Singer and dancer AJ McLean and his wife Rochelle DeAnna McLean have officially revealed the end of their 12-year marriage. The couple, who had previously shared their temporary separation in March, announced on AJ's Instagram.

In their joint statement, AJ and Rochelle explained, "As you all know we have been separated for over a year now. While we have hoped for reconciliation we have decided to officially end our marriage. It is with deep love and respect that we have made this decision"

The couple emphasized their commitment to moving forward in the healthiest way possible, with a focus on maintaining friendship and co-parenting for the well-being of their children. AJ and Rochelle expressed gratitude for the kindness, respect, and privacy they hoped to receive during this challenging time. 

AJ McLean and Rochelle DeAnna McLean tied the knot in December 2011 in Los Angeles, three years after first meeting when she worked as a waiter in a restaurant.

The couple acknowledged the challenges of marriage, stating, "Marriage is hard but worth it. We have mutually decided to separate temporarily to work on ourselves and on our marriage, with the hope of building a stronger future."
