Global sensation Ed Sheeran made a surprise visit to a school in Mumbai, India, on Tuesday, leaving fans and students in awe. The renowned singer-songwriter shared the heartwarming experience on his Instagram Reels, showcasing moments of joy and connection with the young kids at the educational institution.

In the video, Ed expresses his excitement about being in Mumbai and the plans for the day, including visiting schools and playing some tunes. The anticipation builds as he mentions that the kids have something special prepared for him as well. The footage captures Ed engaging with primary school students, sitting on the floor with them, shaking hands, and participating in the vibrant exchange of music and culture.

One standout moment from the visit is when Ed Sheeran, armed with his guitar, serenades the students with his iconic hit, "Shape Of You," as the children enthusiastically clap in unison. Clearly moved by the experience, Ed shares his enthusiasm, saying, "Oh man, I loved it. So so much fun."

The singer took to his Instagram feed to share an inside look at the heartening exchange, writing, "Visited a school in Mumbai this morning and swapped performances with the kids, so much fun. Great being back in India too!" The post received positive responses, with singer Armaan Malik and actor Tara Sharma expressing their admiration through heart emojis.

Ed Sheeran is set to take the stage in Mumbai on March 16 as part of the final leg of his –=÷× Tour (Mathematics), which encompasses Asia and Europe in 2024. This marks his second concert in India, following his debut performance in 2017. Back then, Ed was welcomed with a grand party hosted by filmmaker Farah Khan, attended by Bollywood stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Malaika Arora, Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, Bhumi Pednekar, and Kriti Sanon.
