Met Gala 2024: From Kylie Jenner to Doja Cat, here’s some most disheartening looks served by promising celebrities

The day has finally arrived. The day of Met Gala! 6th of May, 2024 has finally unveiled the most awaited eve of the year and the clebrities surely met the Met Gala fantasy of it's timeless theme of 'The Garden of Time.'

Met Gala is one of the most exuberant events of the fashion realm, for more than fashion to be precise, Art! Regarded as the world's most prestigious and glamorous fashion event and social gathering of the global elites, it is an annual fundraising event organized for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in Manhattan. The attendees include dignitaries from the spherical realm of fashion, film, television, music, theater, business, sports, social media, and politics, which is primarily organized by Vogue Magazine, the guest list of which is precisely crocheted by Vogue's Editor in Chief, Anna Wintour.

Although there are hundreds of celebrities who are invited to the Met Ball, only a few can strike the bar raised under the fashionable theme while most of them cannot strike it close. Just like that, this year was flocked by numerous attendees, and a few of them with a regal history on the carpet were similarly expected to stir the fashion realm by channeling their most interesting avatars, but it seems the expectations went all in vain. Let's see the list of some most worst dressed celebrities at Met Gala 2024.

Kendall Jenner - The most iconic supermodel of the globe, Kendal Jenner reached 'The Garden of Time' quite lowkey and Met is not a lowkey game as it is all about exuberant experimentation with looks. No, doubt her ensemble was a classic masterpiece but didn't strike the same impact as her previous years, She wore a 1999 Givenchy black gown by John Galliano.

Dua Lipa - It was the previous year when Dua Lipa stood taller with Karl Lagerfeld's living legacy but this year she looked more like a crow swirling in a garden. She wore a skin-bearing lace skirt featuring a corset set that had an array of intricate details sure to inspire some double takes that was created by none other than Mark Jacobs. Her look was more confusing than others.

Kylie Jenner - The most influential social media celebrity, Kylie Jenner reached the event just like any other year but she lacked the spark as her nude tone gown gave more of a ball gown than a Met-worthy art. She donned a custom design by Oscar de la Renta strapless gown inspired by the garden statue that also featured a cone-style bra, a cinched waist, a long train, and a matching jacket.

Doja Cat - Dojat Cat went so impractical yet fashionably impeccable that seeing her this year's Met Look was almost heartbreaking. The sensation wore a Dripping-Wet Dress to the tinted green carpet designed by VETEMENTS creative director Guram Gvasalia. Thought it was impactful, but not impactful enough for the Met-worthy list. It was neither quirky, nor striking, either funny or artistic, and stood far from the theme, only if it was made inspired by a garden fountain.

Kim Kardashian - The Kardashian fame donned a custom Margiela by John Galliano look. With a pale grey thistle-washed boiled cashmere cardigan, it featured a couture corset rewoven from antique silver brocade and a skirt in tooled silver metal evoking floral lace, which was actually made out of metal. the silver corset was extremely synched at the waist giving a more uncomfortable vibes on the carpet. With white blonde hair, she missed the garden theme even with the color palette. It was rather a Kim Kardashian, we; 've seen before.
