Taylor Swift finally sets off her Eras Tour after the release of 'The Tortured Poets Department' from Paris; Know her new setlist
After releasing one of her most anticipated album 'The Tortured Poets Department', pop sensation, Taylor Swift has finally given a kickstart to her iconic Eras Tour, while acing first ground from the European mainland, Paris. For the European leg of her enthralling tour, the artist came up with a whole new, revamped setlist by cutting several song and restructuring the whole concert for lending a way to perform her latest song from the 11th album, The Tortured Poets Departments.
In fact, the changed setlist seemed to drop off songs like The Archer and The 1 and embed its place with her now sought-after songs, Fortnight and Down Bad. Swift took over the center stage at the iconic La Défense Arena of Paris and opened the concert with her timeless classics like Miss Americana and Heartbreak Prince. Ruling over the stage for almost three hours, the singer sang her most loved 45 songs from her 18-year-long career, but what was a marvelous scene to behold was being able to witness the brand new TTPD songs that oozed and whacked the Paris audiences.
What was even more interesting to see some brand new changes in her costumes as she started off her European leg of the world tour. Debuting several new outfits, it featured a sparkling red bodysuit, an another with an overcoat that she wore during the opening portions of the show. But what stole off attention of the masses was her black dress with silver tassles which she wore playing guitar during the Fearless Era. Meanwhile, for the TTPD era, the sensation opted for an impeccable white voluminous gown with a front cutout and a matching bodysuit underneath. The whole of her gown featured lyrics from her latest songs and fans have truely gagged on it.
The artist cum therapist of 'Heartbroken', Swift released her 11th Studio album on 19th April 2024. And made people break their hearts with the whole musical catalog, and Just when Swifties thought they couldn't handle any more emotional turmoil from the iconic 11th studio album, she bombarded the globe with a whopping surprise that we were not ready for. Not at all. Taking over her Instagram handle, Taylor weaved her words and quipped "Hola! We're just getting started" and went on calling the surprise as 'The Anthology'. The Original album contains 16 songs in total while the 'The Anthology' has 15 songs that are well equipped songs that titles - The Prophecy, Peter, The Albatross, Bolter, Robin, and many others.
