‘I saw death', says Punjabi lyricist Jaani after car accident in Mohali

Punjabi singer, lyricist Jaani Johan, who met with a car accident in Mohali on July 19, took to his Instagram and shared his health update.

According to information, Jaani met with a car accident in Mohali while he was travelling with his friends on Tuesday evening. His car flipped after being hit by another vehicle in Mohali.

The singer was immediately rushed to a hospital. Soon after the road accident, Jaani took to his Instagram account and shared his health update.

He said that he saw death with his own eyes and even glimpsed God. "I saw death and God together," he said, adding that he and his friends were all fine as they just suffered minor injuries.

“Ajj akha’n ne maut vekhi, par fer BAABE NANAK nu vekheya, so ajj MAUT te RAB dono ikathe vekhe….Main te mere dost theek aa’n, just minor injuries duaa ch yaad rakheyo #JAANI" he wrote in a caption.

In another statement, he added: “With the grace of almighty, we all present in the car at that time are fine. The authorities are doing due diligence in the matter, and we have been discharged from the hospital. Waheguru ne rakh le. Waheguru da shukr hai (Thank God).”

Soon after Jaani's post surfaced on social media, his fans wished him a speedy recovery. Likewise, celebrities like Gauahar Khan, Asees Kaur, Stebin Ben, Ammy Virk, Ravi Dubey, Kanika Kapoor, and Sophie Choudry among others commented on the post.
