Jacqueline Fernandez to appear before Delhi Police: Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is going to appear before Delhi Police on September 12 in connection with Rs 200 crore money laundering case.
In connection with the money laundering case, involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, a Delhi court has summoned Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez. The ED's charge sheet against Jacqueline Fernandez has been accepted by Delhi's Patiala court. As per the reports, she will be questioned by the Police on September 26.
The ED claims that 16 expensive automobiles belonging to co-accused Leena Paulose or others were discovered following investigations at locations connected to Chandrasekhar and his colleagues.
Eight people were charged in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case, including Chandrasekhar, Leena Maria Paul, Deepak Ramnani, Pradeep Ramnani, Kamlesh Kothari, Avtar Singh Kochhar, and two others.
The Enforcement Directorate had earlier said that Chandrasekhar had spent money obtained from extorting high-profile individuals to buy presents for Jacqueline.
The actress claimed that her fixed deposits were made with her own money, not with money Sukesh had given her, in her response to the court through her legal team.
