Jagdeep Sidhu comes in support of director Karan Malhotra after netizens mock 'Shamshera'
Jagdeep Sidhu reacts on Karan Malhotra's post: Bollywood film 'Shamshera' starring Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt was released in theaters on July 22. The film which is helmed by Karan Malhotra has been facing criticism ever since the release. Although, the movie has been receiving mixed reaction from movie buffs and film critic.
Karan Malhotra who shared a heartfelt note on film being criticized received support from Punjabi writer and director Jagdeep Sidhu.
In a brief note, Jagdeep Sidhu expressed what all hurdles a filmmaker has to go through while making a film to brining it to the silver screens. He also explained how much hard work and dedication the makers and the crew have to undergo.

In the statement he said, "Love you sir …This is huge …. Trolling , Targeting , Negativity , Hatred ….. Sorry to say but now a days we dnt hv critics …. We hv trollers who, without having any knowledge about cinema, just for the sake of a few views, tend to destroy ur 5 years of hard work with 5 minute videos,, By the name of review …. At first, they reveal ur full story…. then try to act funny in the best possible manner … talk negative… spread hate! And the irony is, we follow them blindly…. On top of that …. We, people of industry also support and spread that hate and feel good about it …. We, ourselves promote all this trolling … these harsh words and trolls initiate depression in the industry …. And when a person gives up on this hate and commits some sort of physical abuse to themselves….. than again, they target industry…PS- Such a vast knowledge of film making that the worst films of bollywood are made by critics.."
For the unversed, this came after Karan Malhotra shared a heart felt message about the film Shamshera being trolled for not making it big on the box office.
