Janhvi Kapoor says, 'No one should remake mother Sridevi's movie'

Janhvi Kapoor news: Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for the release of the film 'Mili' which also marks her debut collaboration with her father Boney Kapoor. The movie which included a lot of challenges for Janhvi is finally nearing its theatrical release and ahead of it, the actress is promoting the movie in every way possible.

Janhvi Kapoor was asked at one of the promotional events who she would recommend for Sridevi's biopic if it were to be made in Bollywood.

The video of Janhvi's reply has gone viral on the internet in no time. The actress said she feels that 'No one! Because no one could replace or do what she did in her films'.

Well, Janhvi Kapoor's reply was much appreciated by everyone, as they believed that there is no other actor in Bollywood who could do justice to her personality.

For the unversed, the late actor Sridevi is recognised as one of the most popular performers in Bollywood. In a career spanning five decades, she appeared in over 300 films. She passed away in 2018 after unintentionally drowning in a Dubai hotel bathtub.

Meanwhile, in Janhvi Kapoor's film 'Mili' she will be seen as the lead who is locked in a storage freezer and needs to find a way out before she freezes to death in the movie.

In addition to Janhvi Kapoor, the movie also features Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa in significant roles.

The movie is being produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by Mathukutty Xavier, a winner of a National Award. The film is slated to release in theaters on November 4.
