Jodaa Teaser: Mouni-Aly to showcase periodic tale of love, sacrifice and betrayal in Jatinder Shah's Jodaa

Mouni Roy and Aly Goni, two of Bollywood's most promising young actors, are set to captivate audiences with their recurring love story 'Jodaa.' As a music album, it depicts the love story of a queen who fights for her love.

Mouni will be seen as a queen battling to reclaim her love from another woman. However, as the story progresses, she will be seen emerging stronger, which will serve as an inspiration to many women. It is an ode to women who love unconditionally, face adversity in life, and still shine brighter and emerge stronger.

The clip starts with a female voiceover, most likely that of Mouni's character. She says, "Main bhi Kashi, jaise Rao ki Kashi." Mouni is dressed as a princess in a red lehenga and heavy traditional jewellery. She is seen dancing with several background dancers before stopping and looking shocked.

Aly is also introduced as a king, posing with a vulture on his arm. In one scene, he applies vermillion to her brow and she touches his feet. There are also glimpses of her performing a puja with a worried expression on her face.

Mouni, in addition to sharing the teaser, also wrote, "Ek naya gaana, ek naya avtaar aur wahi pyaar ke saath la rahe hai hum #Jodaa - Premiering on 11th October at 11AM on the @vyrloriginals YouTube channel. Set a reminder for it now. Link in bio."

Afsana Khan, who is currently in the Bigg Boss 15 house, sang Jodaa. Maninder Kailey wrote the song and Jatinder Shah has directed the classic music video which will be out on October 11th.
