John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar starrer ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’ delayed due to surge in Covid-19 cases in India!

John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar starrer most awaited film ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’ has been postponed to be released due to the rise of Covid-19 in India.

The filmmakers announced the update on Tuesday morning by sharing statement on the social media platforms. “In these unprecedented times, nothing matters more than the safety and health of our countrymen & patrons. Our film “Satyameva Jayate 2” will now release on a later date. Till then let’s keep our masks on and do our best to keep our loved ones and ourselves out of harm’s way. Jai Hind. - Team SMJ2”

However, the releasing date of ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’ has not been finalized yet. Needless to say that the second wave of Covid-19 has hit Bollywood very badly, where within a week many celebrities have been tested positive. Keeping in view the adversity of the current situation, the makers of ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’ have taken the decision of rescheduling the release date.

Satyamev Jayate 2 is the sequel of John Abram’s super hit film ‘Satyamev Jayate’ released in 2018. The second installment is written and directed by Milap Milan Zaveri and is produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Emmay Entertainment.

Also, ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’ was to clash with Salman Khan’s ‘Radhe:Your Most Wanted Bhai’ on May 13 however, the shift in release date has avoided the clash between the two blockbuster actors.
