After doing action in 'Dhaakad', which turned out to be a disaster for Kangana Ranaut at the box office, the actress is coming up with her next film 'Emergency' in which she is playing the role of former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi.

Kangana Ranaut undoubtedly stunned everyone with her resemblance to Indira Gandhi. Recently, the teaser of ‘Emergency’ was released and Kangana bagged a lot of appreciation from the audience and critics.

Now, several reports suggest that the Congress party has objected to Kangana Ranaut's portrayal of Indira Gandhi. As per the report, the party has asked the makers to show them the film before its official release.

The party reportedly believes that the film is an attempt to ruin the image of ex-PM Indira Gandhi.

On the other hand, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reportedly said that the Congress party objected to the film as they are nervous.

Sangeeta Sharma, from the Madhya Pradesh Congress Media Department, referred to Kangana Ranaut as an agent of the BJP.

Notably, Kangana Ranaut has donned the director's hat for 'Emergency' once again which features her as former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Earlier, she had directed 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi'. She said, "I do believe that the audience is looking for something which will stimulate their intellectual side and not just their sensual side."
