Legendary Folk Singer Gurmeet Bawa’s Daughter Lachi Bawa Passes Away

A news of grieve has taken over in the Punjabi music industry. Legendary folk singer Gurmeet Bawa’s daughter, Lachi Bawa breathed her last on the night of February 12. Reportedly, the singer was suffering from cancer since a very long time.

Going by the reports, she passed away in a private hospital in Ludhiana due to cancer. Lachi Bawa's elder sister Galori Bawa said that she had been suffering from cancer for the last five months and was admitted to Dayanand Hospital in Ludhiana. But late in the night she breathed her last.

Her body will be brought to Amritsar today and the last rites will also be performed there.

Meanwhile, the eldest daughter of Gurmeet's 3 daughters, Lachi was the one to pursue her traditional singing.
