Did Kriti Sanon sold her Mumbai apartment to casting director Mukesh Chabbra?

Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon and her family have reportedly sold four residential apartments in Mumbai's Andheri West for a total value of Rs 8.9 crore. According to property registration documents, the transactions were completed in April 2026, with reports stating that casting director and filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra is the buyer.

The apartments are located in Raheja Classique, a well-known residential complex in Andheri West. The area is one of Mumbai's most popular real estate locations because of its excellent connectivity through the Western Express Highway, Link Road, Mumbai Metro, and suburban railway network. It is also close to major business and entertainment hubs, including SEEPZ, MIDC, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), and Film City.

As per the property documents reviewed by Square Yards, two of the apartments were sold for Rs 3.23 crore each. Both units have a built-up area of 654.23 square feet and include one dedicated parking space. Stamp duty of Rs 19.41 lakh and registration charges of Rs 30,000 were paid for each of these transactions.

The family also sold two smaller apartments in the same building for Rs 1.21 crore each. These units measure 246.06 square feet, and each transaction attracted a stamp duty of Rs 7.29 lakh along with registration charges of Rs 30,000.

Reports further reveal that Geeta Sanon, Kriti's mother, had purchased two of these apartments in 2013 for around Rs 1.40 crore. Kriti Sanon and her sister Nupur Sanon reportedly bought the remaining two units in 2017 for a combined amount of nearly Rs 2.90 crore. This means the family's total investment in all four apartments was approximately Rs 4.30 crore.

With the latest sale valued at Rs 8.9 crore, the properties have almost doubled in value over the years. The deal highlights the strong appreciation of real estate prices in Andheri West, which continues to be one of Mumbai's most sought-after residential areas.

While reports identify Mukesh Chhabra as the buyer, neither the actress nor the filmmaker has officially confirmed or commented on the transaction. The information is based on property registration records and reports published by Square Yards.
