On the death anniversary of Irrfan Khan; son Babil Khan pens a heart-touching message for his beloved father!

Irrfan Khan passed away a year ago, today celebrating one year death anniversary, his son Babil wrote a heart-touching message that left everyone with teary-eyes.

On April 29, 2020, Irrfan Khan took heavenly abode after battling with cancer for long. Live life to the fullest and sail through tough times with a big smile” was the last message from Irrfan to his fans when he shared the trailer of his last film ‘Angreji Medium’.

Remembering Irrfan his son Babil wrote, “no one can ever replace his father, he was greatest friend, companion, Brother I ever had and will ever have.”

The note shared by Babil for his late father read as,

"Chemo burns you from the inside, so to find joy in the simple things, like building your own table to write your own journals. There is a purity, I have not yet discovered. There is a legacy that has already been concluded by my Baba himself. A full stop. Nobody can ever replace him."

There is no measurement of how much Babil miss his father, his words for Irrfan Khan can describe the amount of love he has for Irrfan in his heart, "I miss you, more than all that shah-Jahan/Mumtaz stuff; I would have built a space monument that could have taken us to the furthest parts of a blackhole singularity you were always intrigued by, but I would have been there with you Baba, and we could have gone together, hand in hand. (Exploring the last mysteries)."

Besides being an amazing father Irrfan Khan was one of the outstanding actors our Industry is blessed with. His refined acting and dedication for his work always managed to leave everyone awestruck. Be it on screen or off-screen Irrfan Khan was loved by all.

The prolific actor was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in March 2018, after which he went to London for his treatment. Even after getting diagnosed with cancer, the actor came back India in 2019 for the shoot of ‘Angreji Medium’ which was also became his last film.

Irrfan Khan will always be remembered by everyone for his outstanding and stupendous acting which he has contributed to the cinema industry.
