Directed by Sriram Raghavan, 'Merry Christmas' is a unique blend of romance, crime, and suspense presented in a multilingual format. Raghavan, known for his suspenseful storytelling, adds his signature touch to this neo-noir narrative.

The movie features Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, set against the backdrop of 1980s Bombay. The plot unfolds as Albert (played by Sethupathi) returns to the city and encounters a lonely mother, Maria (played by Kaif), and her child on Christmas Eve. As the night progresses, their time together takes a dramatic turn with the discovery of a dead body in Maria's flat.

The Hindi version of the film also includes stellar performances by Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand. In the Tamil version, Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams take on the same roles.
