Speaking about working with Kairav, Smeep Kang shared that it is a proud moment for him. He also described the experience as an “out of the world” feeling. Working with his son on a film is clearly a special experience for the filmmaker, making the project more meaningful than just another film in his career.

Meri Girlfriend Da Viyaah follows the story of Bittu, who tries to hide his girlfriend, Nimrat, from his strict family. To keep their relationship a secret, he introduces her to his family as their new housemaid. However, things soon become complicated, leading to several funny situations and misunderstandings.

The film combines romance and comedy with the familiar theme of family relationships. Its storyline explores how one small lie can create a series of unexpected problems, making life difficult for Bittu while giving audiences plenty of reasons to laugh.

For Kairav Kang, the film is an important first step into the world of acting. Sharing the screen and working on a project directed by his father makes this debut even more memorable. For Smeep Kang, it is an opportunity to guide his son while continuing his journey in Punjabi cinema.

With a light-hearted story and a father-son connection behind the scenes, Meri Girlfriend Da Viyaah brings together professional work and a personal milestone. The film is a special addition to Smeep Kang’s career and marks the beginning of a new journey for Kairav Kang in the Punjabi film industry.
