Holi is just ahead us and we can already feel the burning enthusiasm among the Indian masses around the globe. People have already started coloring each other and began celebrating pre-holi. India being a diverse landmass and due to availibility of scattered group of sub communities, each festival is celebrated differently in every part of the country. Holi is one of the festival, where varied ways of energy and celebration can be seen in different parts of the nation. Here's a vivid list of places within the country where the Indian festival is other-worldly.

MATHURA - The birthplace of Lord Krishna, Mathura in Braj is located in the state of Uttar Pradesh is one of the most famous place to celebrate Holi in the most grandest way possible. The colors float around Mathura's air. From morning Bhajan chants to sprouting gulaal in the famous Dwarkadheesh Temple, lanes filled with multicolored heads, Mathura is a true heaven for Holi enthusiasts.

VRINDAVAN - Holi in Lord Krishna's playland Vrindavan is yet another place for angelic amazement. The place witnesses one of the most unique celebration specially for the widows. Widows clad in white sarees coloring gulaal on each other is a scene of rarity. Filled with passion and true emotion people all around Vrindavan rejoices the colorful festival. Banke Bihari Temple of Vrindavan is a place to witness the ultra festive grandeaur.

BARSANA - Barsana of Uttar Pradesh is another place in the state where Holi is celebrated marvelously. The Lathmar Holi of Barsana is world famous. Womens beating the man with sticks and mens protecting themselves with shields is an age-old ritual belonging to mythology of Lord Krishna and Radha's romantic affair that are rejoices by the people in the sub-urbs of Barsana and Nandgaon.

PUSHKAR - With it's ultimate grandeaur, pushkar celebrates extreme Holi as well. The place all packed with parties and drenched colours, the city experiences flamboyant music and DJ's all around. Tourists from all around the globe seems to drown towards this Rajasthan's city.

DELHI - The nations capital is filled with people all around the country and hence bring-in the most versatile and unseen celebration of the festival. With different vibe and enthusiasm, every gully of Delhi screams extremism. Every place in the city is fully packed with it's party venues and artists. Rain dance, food festivities, DJ grooves are some of the spices that adds on to the Holi energy.
