Urfi Javed reveals her traumatic past; openly talks about her abusive childhood

Uorfi Javed, is no new face to the world of fashion and industry now. She proved her legacy, through unthinkable outfits, confidence and consistency. Now, Uorfi in a recent interview revealed some of the most delicate information  about her past life. 

Uorfi talked about her abusive past, not only this the actress also shown the scars and mentioned her traumatic family. Now that's called daring as the star spoke about her vulnerabilities.

Life with abusive father

Growing up in conservative Muslim family, with a strict father she had a tough life in Lucknow. She referred her father, abusive as he used to beat her up sometimes. "My father use to be verbally abusive most of the time and beat my mother" Uorfi stated. In addition to this, Uorfi went through major trauma when she was only 15 and someone posted her picture on an adult website. People started calling her 'whore' she revealed. 

Likewise, she was forced to run away from her home when she was 17 as people started judging her and her father didn't allow her to do anything she wanted to do.

The internet sensation also showed the scars and mentioned about the suicidal phase she went through. "I consumed phenyl once and had to be taken to the hospital", the star added.

Uorfi's journey in industry

Uorfi from a tough family background, unlike everything, moved away from the negativity and soon shifted to Mumbai. She struggled in the TV industry but TV didn't do much for her financial growth and fame that she wanted. However, it formed a personality and made her stronger. It was in 2022, when media recognized her OTT fashion abilities and confidence caliber. 

Within a year, today everyone knows Uorfi. That's how she wanted her life to be, "I wanted to look different, I wanted to look the best. Like when I go to a party, everyone turns to look at me”, says Uorfi.
