World’s No 1 Punjabi entertainment channel, PTC Punjabi records highest ever figures to clinch the No. 1 spot in UK on May 19. According to data obtained released by BizAsiaLive.com, PTC Punjabi surpassed competitors like Sony Entertainment Television, Hum TV and Zee TV among others to be the No. 1 channel in UK.

“PTC Punjabi was well ahead of its rival channels with an impressive share of 0.17%, followed by Sony Entertainment Television with 0.11%, Hum TV with 0.09%, New Vision TV and Aaj Tak with 0.07%, Star Plus and Dunya News with 0.05%, ZEE TV and NDTV 24×7 with 0.04%, Geo TV and Colors with 0.03% and ARY Family with 0.02%,” BizAsiaLive.com stated in its report.

“PTC Punjabi ruled yesterday with a huge audience jump between 15:00 – 22:30. Its average audience hovered around 30,000 viewers during those seven hours, which included live Gurbani and Punjabi film,” the website added.
