Raksha Bandhan 2022: Afsana Khan ties 'rakhi' to Sidhu Moose Wala's statue

Raksha Bandhan 2022: The entire nation celebrated Raksha Bandhan with their siblings. However, the celebration of 'Rakhi' was a bit different for those who lost their siblings recently. Punjabi singer Afsana Khan who used to refer Sidhu Moose Wala as her elder brother, also celebrated 'rakhi' with the late singer, but in a unique way.

Afsana Khan, who celebrated rakhi every year with Sidhu Moose Wala, shared throwback videos and pictures from the celebrations. The singer visited Sidhu Moose Wala's home in Mansa and tied rakhi to the late singer's statue which is situated in the fields of Sidhu.

She also tied 'rakhi' to Sidhu Moose Wala's father Balkaur Singh Sidhu as seen in a video shared by Afsana Khan.

Meanwhile, several fans also visited Sidhu Moose Wala's home in Mansa to celebrate 'Rakhi' and tie the 'holy thread' on Moose Wala's statue.

Indeed, Sidhu Moose Wala has not only gained worldwide recognition, but also numerous relations of brother, friend, and son.

Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead on May 29 in Punjab's Mansa district. The whole nation went in complete shock after the heartbreaking news. Several fans as well as Hollywood stars also paid tribute to the singer.

Coming back to Sidhu Moose Wala and Afsana Khan's bond, there is no hidden fact that the two shared an impeccable bond of brother-sister. Afsana Khan even completed Sidhu's music tour after his unfortunate death.

She also stated that she will be taking care of Sidhu Moose Wala's parents for life.
