Raksha Bandhan trailer review: 'Bhaiya Mere Rakhi ke Bandhan Ko Nibhana'. Well, Akshay Kumar is doing exactly the same as he promised his late mother that he will get married only after his sisters tie the knots. Aksahy Kumar's much-awaited film 'Raksha Bandhan' starring Bhumi Pednekar is all about love, emotions and relations. After releasing intriguing poster, the makers of the film have unveiled the film's trailer.

Apart from Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar, the film also stars Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb, and Smrithi Srikanth in key roles.

Raksha Bandhan Trailer Review

The trailer is as promised as Akshay Kumar stated while unveiling the first look of the film. The story of the film revolves around Akshay and his four grown up sisters and their loving bond together. Bhumi Pednekar who is portraying love interest of Akshay in the film is conitunously asking Akshay to get married to her but Akshay is bounded by his last promise made to his late mother that, he will only marry when his all four sisters get married.

The film then highlights, for a middle class family, how much difficult it gets to get married their daughters and sisters when the society is only dependent upon the 'dowry' practice which still exists in the post independent era.

the film is written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon, whereas it si helmed by Anand L Rai which is set to hit theaters on August 11, 2022.
