The actress took to her social media accounts and shared a special update about the upcoming movie 'Chhatriwali'. Rakul Preet Singh announced that the film will be released on the OTT platforms soon.
The slice-of-life drama 'Chhatriwali' features Rakul Preet Singh and Sumeet Vyas and will be released on ZEE5.
On the occasion of World AIDS Day, the film's creators announced its digital distribution. Rakul stated that 'Chhatriwali' is unique since it is a fun movie with a socially relevant message.
Rakul Preet said, "This World Aids Day, I join the fight against HIV by raising awareness on the importance of safe sex and the use of male contraceptives via my upcoming film, 'Chhatriwali'.
As per the sources, 'Chhatriwali' wants to make a big societal point about how important safe sex and male contraception are. In the movie, Rakul plays the role of a quality control manager of a condom manufacturer based in Haryana.
Although she is first nervous and ashamed of her profession, she quickly understands the value of safe sex and decides to de-stigmatize the discussion surrounding sex education.
The makers of the film are yet to announce its release date, however, it the poster shared by Rakul has already made everyone eager for the film.
