Vicky Kaushal announces release date of 'Sam Bahadur'; teaser out

Sam Bahadur release date: One of the most eagerly awaited movies in Bollywood is Meghna Gulzar's upcoming film "Sam Bahadur," in which Vicky Kaushal would portray the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.

The movie also features Sanya Malhotra playing Silloo, the wife of Manekshaw, while Fatima Sana Shaikh portrays Indira Gandhi, a former Prime Minister. In the meantime, Vicky Kaushal has announced the film's release date of the much-awaited movie 'Sam Bahadur' along with the first glimpse.

A battalion of army officers is seen splitting in the clip to make way for Sam Bahadur. Vicky's appearance as Sam and realistic representation in the movie has generated a lot of discussions since it was first unveiled.

After the group finished a schedule, Vicky posted images from the movie's outdoor location filming earlier in October. In the video, shared by Vicky Kaushal, director Meghna Gulzar can also be seen announcing the completion of the film’s first schedule and thanking everyone on the team.

Sam Manekshaw served in the military for more than four decades and in five battles. His military triumph in the 1971 Indo-Pak war led in the establishment of Bangladesh and he was the first Indian Army officer to be conferred the rank of Field Marshal.

The movie, directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, will hit theatres on December 1, 2023.
