Ranveer Singh learnt Konkani as he is scared of Deepika Padukone turning children against him

Recently, the two were spotted together at Shankar Mahadevan's Concert in US and a video from the event has made waves on the social media. In the viral video, Ranveer Singh revealed his reason of learning Konkani language.

A video of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone sharing the stage together at Shankar Mahadevan's concert is making rounds on the internet. Ranveer Singh's revelation of why he learnt Konkani language left everyone in splits.

In his statement Ranveer Singh said, "I am in a position where I can understand all of Konkani seamlessly but there is a reason behind this, it’s because when we do have children I don’t want their mother to speak to them in Konkani about me without me understanding."

Deepika Padukone who was sitting beside Ranveer instantly told the audience, "So He comes up to me one day and he is like, Baby I want to learn Konkani and I fell for him on that day. I was like oh Nice! That's really sweet. Okay then I will start learning Sindhi. He Doesn't Know Sindhi. So he can't go to the Sindhi convention obviously, like I'm here and talking Konkani."

"And then it came out in the conversation over the period of time that it wasn't about him learning Konkani, it was about so that I don't turn the children against him."

To this Ranveer Singh jumped into and said, "I don't want them to speak in code language and be like what's going on?"

The video has been winning hearts on the internet and everyone is appreciting the way Ranveer explains his fear of Deepika Padukone turning children against him in the near future.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh will be turning 37 on July 6 and is currently enjoying his time with wifey Deepika Padukone in US. On the work front, both the actors have multiple line ups. Deepika will be seen in Fighter, Pathaan, The Intern and Project K, whereas Ranveer Singh will be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani along with Alia Bhatt.
