Shah Rukh Khan announces the release date of 'Pathaan'; teaser out now
Fans have been impatiently awaiting the release of Shah Rukh Khan's next film Pathaan, and now the date has been announced. The much-anticipated YRF film which also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in key roles is all set to hit theaters on January 25, 2023.

Since going into production, the film has been the buzz of the town. Earlier, Shah Rukh's outfit from the sets, complete with long hair, went viral on the internet, and fans have been anticipating his comeback to the big screen following the movie Zero.
Making the announcement official, Shah Rukh Khan took to his social media accounts and wrote, "I know it’s late… But remember the date… Pathaan time starts now…See you in cinemas on 25th January, 2023. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Celebrate #Pathaan with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you."
The video begins with Deepika and John introducing Shah Rukh Khan's role, who has no religious or caste background, in the teaser. In the background, SRK's voice can be heard providing more information about his persona, stating that he adopted his national identity as his religion.

Shah Rukh's appearance in the film has been kept a mystery because he only appears on a blurred screen at the end. SRK goes on to say that he will reveal more about his persona in the near future.

Finally, Shah Rukh is heard introducing himself and requesting that everyone wait a few moments longer to see him. On January 25, 2023, the film will be released.
Siddharth Anand directed the announcement video, which also disclosed that the action thriller will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The movie is supposed to tell the tale of a spy who will go to any length to protect his country. Shah Rukh Khan's sabbatical after Zero comes to an end with Pathaan.
