Shahid Kapoor reveals why 'Jersey' will always be special for him...
Shahid Kapoor talks about being part of 'Jersey': Shahid Kapoor's 'Jersey', is all set to create magic on the big screens. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur in key roles and is set to hit theatres on April 14th.
Shahid Kapoor's film Jersey is surely one of the most special films of his career as this is the first film Shahid will be seen playing a role of a father and also he has worked with his father Pankaj Kapur.
As the film comes closer to its release, Shahid Kapoor has expressed how special the film is for him with a heartfelt note. Shahid expressed his thoughts on the subject on Saturday and posted a beautiful video on social media.
In a video shared by Shahid, stills from the film featuring Shahid Kapoor along with his on-screen son and Pankaj Kapur are showcased. Shahid captioned the video, "When art imitates life... And life imitates art! To play a father for the first time and working with my own father in the same film almost feels poetic… #Jersey will always be special to me for this beautiful experience.”
As soon as the video was shared, Mira Rajput also expressed her love and stated, "Kore Khali Panne Pe, Fateh Hai Likheya"
On April 14, the movie 'Jersey' will be released in theatres and is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, The sports drama is a Hindi version of the Telugu film of the same name, which stars Nani in the major role. Veteran actor Pankaj Kapur also plays a significant role in the film.

"My father is a very clear actor and has a lot of opinions," Shahid earlier said of working with his father on screen. It's the same for me, as his son. Having all of that was fantastic. We were both quite attentive to one another's viewpoints. Actors who aren't confident in themselves, I believe, become trapped in one method of doing things; they overthink things."
