Shamita Shetty recollects time when she wasn't getting work in the industry
Shamita Shetty news: Actress Shamita Shetty began her career with the film Mohabbatien which was her debut movie. The actor also received an IIFA Award for star debut of the year after Mohabbatien.

Recently in an interview, the actress said that she wished to get some more work long back and she was also hoping that the audience might get impressed with her upcoming film, 'The Tenant'.
Further, Shamita also revealed that beginning a career with the best and then seeing a drop is disheartening. Then, she stated that she began her career with Yash Raj Films and then her career graph had a sudden fall which was unexpected for the actor.

However, she added saying that while doing Mohabbatien she didn't realize how much she loved performing, well that happened to her when she shot for the film Zeher. After this, she became hungry for work and she wanted to explore more roles.
Furthermore, she mentioned that the industry was not providing her work. Then, things didn't work like she wanted them to work and there was always a two or three years gap between her releases.
The actor said that every time she had a release people would say that it was her comeback which used to annoy her, as she believes that she wants more work to come her way so why call it a comeback?

Lastly, she said that she had great hopes for The Tenant and she believes that the glimpse of her talent might bring her some great projects ahead.
