In a major development in Sidhu Moose Wala's murder case, the Pune police arrested another shooter Santosh Jadhav and his aide Navnath Suryavanshi, a suspect in the case.
Santosh Jadhav (24), a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi group, and Suryavanshi (27) were arrested from Mandavi tehsil at Bhuj in Gujarat.
Santosh Jadhav was arrested in a 2021 murder case registered at Manchar police station in Maharashtra's Pune district, the cops said, adding that he had shaved his head and changed his appearance to evade arrest.
The Pune rural police team has also visited Delhi to interrogate gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently in the Delhi Police special cell custody. Lawrence is said to be the mastermind in Sidhu Moose Wala's murder case.
The names of Jadhav and Suryavanshi also cropped up in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case. Several police teams, from Delhi and Punjab, were hunting them.
The Pune rural police had intensified their hunt. Last week, Siddhesh Kamble alias Mahakal, accused of sheltering Jadhav after the 2021 murder case, was also arrested.
Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead on May 29 in Mansa's Jawaharke village. Meanwhile, Punjab Police has been investigating the matter and several arrests have been made.
After the attack, Canada-based gangster Goly Brar claimed the responsibility for the murder. Notably, Interpol has issued a Red Corner Notice against him.
