Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel's 'Gadar 2' filming is 80 percent complete

Ever since the sequel of the iconic drama 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha' was announced, the fans have been eagerly waiting for the movie. As of now, the release date of Gadar 2, featuring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the lead roles, has not been announced but it looks like the filmmakers might reveal it soon.

According to information, the makers have already completed 80 percent filming of 'Gadar 2'. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared an update regarding Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's 'Gadar 2'. The Lucknow’s shoot of the film has been completed and the film is currently in the final phase of shooting.

Meanwhile, several fans started commenting on Taran Adarsh’s post and enquired about Gadar 2's release date. One of the fans wrote, “Waiting eagerly," while another user asked, "Kya Gadar 2 bhi all time blockbuter hogi?"

For the unversed, Gadar 2 was announced in October last year. Sunny Deol had taken it to social media and shared the motion poster of the film. “After two decades the wait is finally over! On the auspicious day of Dusshera, Presenting to you the motion poster of #Gadar2. The Katha Continues…” he had written.

Gadar 2 is being directed by Anil Sharma and is written by Shaktimaan.
