Diljit Dosanjh's heartfelt response to Naseeb's criticism goes viral!

Punjabi artist Naseeb recently directed criticism towards Diljit Dosanjh, along with his manager Sonali Singh, through their Instagram story. The focal point of their critique was Diljit's representation of Punjab in his track "Main Hoon Punjab." They urged him to delve deeper into Punjab's essence by learning to tie a turban, emphasizing that Punjab is not for the faint-hearted but for the courageous.

In addition to this, Naseeb further elaborated on their criticism by sharing an old picture of Diljit holding a sword, implying a disconnection between Diljit's portrayal and the true spirit of Punjab.

However, Diljit Dosanjh's response to this criticism was anything but confrontational. Instead of engaging in a verbal sparring match, he took to his Instagram story to share a picture with the caption "All is God," expressing love and well-wishes towards Naseeb. This response not only showcases Diljit's maturity but also his ability to rise above negativity with grace and positivity.

While Diljit's response radiates warmth and goodwill, it has sparked reactions from fans and observers alike. It's particularly notable given recent accusations from Mika Singh regarding Diljit imitating his style, adding to the ongoing discourse surrounding Diljit's international stardom.

One aspect that adds complexity to this narrative is Diljit's stance on preserving his turban. In a previous interview, he staunchly declared that he wouldn't compromise his turban for any role. However, his portrayal of iconic Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila in an upcoming project raised eyebrows when it was revealed that he wore a wig for the role.

The decision to wear a wig for the portrayal of Chamkila has invited scrutiny, but insights from both director Imtiaz Ali and the film's producer shed light on the reasoning behind it. While Imtiaz Ali disclosed Diljit's use of a wig, emphasizing its symbolic representation of the turban, the producer affirmed Diljit's commitment to maintaining the integrity of the character's appearance. The wig served as a meticulous attempt to embody Chamkila's persona without compromising Diljit's personal beliefs.
